I came home, dropped down on the couch, closed my eyes and tuned in to an isoap. What’s an iSoap?

I saw some new variety of cookies in Tesco the other day - in the cereals aisle. I think they were yet another one of those substitutes for a sensible breakfast, marketed, presumably, at the apparently increasing numbers of people who regularly fail to find either the time to pour milk and cereal into a bowl, or to just grow up and eat fruit or something.

Many people think that interior design is a very complicated and difficult project and it's not possible for them to do it by themselves. That's why so many people pay a so called professional a lot of money to come and help them out.

They say you should look for the silver lining in bad situations. The current real estate is so bad that the silver lining is pretty hard to find. Still, it has given rise to a large number of jokes. At the end of the day, a good laugh can go a long way to helping you hang in there.

Starting an "earth-friendly" business is not always as easy as it seems. I felt it would be an easy challenge for me, seeing that I had launched one of Mississippi's first health food stores. The Internet was still Arapnet and only used by the government, blogs didn't exist, and social networking meant handing out business cards. I paid high rent in a mall across from the local university. The local townsfolk felt I might be possessed to believe that natural products might be better than what could be bought at the local general market.

I owe Bono (of the band U2) and his wife Ali a tremendous thank you for helping me launch my business. The great irony is, they probably will never read this, and will never know what they did for me. But what they are doing for the planet, with Edun Organics is not only a business they launched, of organic cotton textiles to make eco-friendly clothing, but (at the risk of sounding overly-dramatic) a gift to humanity.

Summary of why I think that most of us are starting to go nuts. Read some of my observations of life as we know it.

If you have not had a chance to look at the latest Channel 4 series fonejacker, but seem to come across it where ever you go, here is a quick overview of the super hit series. Fonejacker is a television series that follows the exploits of the multi-talented actor Kayvan Novak, as he makes prank calls to people all over the UK.

It's almost alarming the effects on communication that a generation gap can have. In an attempt to bring my mom into the twenty first century I went out and bought her a personal computer and then a cell phone. I put her on my family plan for the cell phone and worked with her local telephone company to get her a DSL Internet connection.

If you are working hard at the same job for years without getting a decent raise or promotion, it means that you have not turned on your boss. He is not sexually attracted to you and you will get no where on that job. If you want to better yourself and make more money, take a break and go to the employees rest room and look in the mirror, decide if your appearance is sexy enough to attract a horny new boss, if it is, start looking for a job where you will be sexually desired.
