Women Rights – A Perfect Guide

in Health

Public Planning is one of the UN led international campaign specially designed to understand the woes faced by women all across the world and help them overcome their mental trauma.

The United Nations have their headquarters based in New York and liaison offices at Africa, Arab states, Asia, Europe, CIS etc. making them easy to reach across millions of women who need their support.

Violence against girls & women is considered as one of the most widely spread human rights violation in the world. Such violence does not see any boundary for age, caste, culture, geography, wealth etc. This violence against women takes place almost everywhere, whether it is at home or at work. Research says that more than 70% of women across the world are beaten, forced into sex or abused all through their lifetime.

Honor killing is one such violence against women where the girl’s immediate family kills her to protect the respect of the family in their community. It is a must that these helpless women need the protection and help of human rights associations. Without such help, the violence against women will only rise to a great extent.

It is a must that women require strong support to help them fight and contact the right authorities when they are in trouble. They must be provided with an easy to remember number like those which we use to call the police, ambulance, fire etc. incase of any emergency. If the same form of emergency numbers is provided, violence against women can be controlled to a great extent. United Nations are working in the similar format.

Without any proper planning, the economic, political & social development of a city or state gets hampered. The UN led campaign has set aside to raise $500 million annually to help women in distress. Plenty of government organizations have contributed and gave assurance to support the campaign to target mass media.

This awareness programme not only helps violence against women but also educate those involved on how to respect girls and women. The programme also provides legal assistance, psychological counseling, health care and awareness to women of how to fight and whom to reach when in need.

Incase, you wish to be a part of the support team and help in the national planning commission of your country, we advise you to go through the link to get more details about the whole program.
